My father was one of the few model car builders almost exclusively interested in vintage Mercedes Benz cars. For more than 60 years he constructed a collection of models with the help of the documentation directly from Mercedes Benz Museum (original blueprints) and several sources all over the world.
This February 11 my father passed away during the process of finding a Museum, here in Portugal, that was interested in acquiring his car models collection. I have tried to contact several Portuguese institutions in order to find some interest on this beautiful collection but no one seems to be interested on it.
I want to know if you have any interest on buying his fine art car model collection.
I send you some links where you can give a look at my father collection:

http://alberto-de-oliveira-modelos.blogspot.com/
http://alberto-de-oliveira-constroi.blogspot.com/
http://alberto-de-oliveira-publica.blogspot.com/

All models are completely constructed by him self in wood, brass, acrylic glass and natural skins. He was the only Portuguese car model builder and one of the few all over the world so much interested on the Mercedes Benz vintage cars and it’s history. If you get a look at this blog will be able to appreciate all the fantastic details of his work.
I also have 130 diecast Mercedes Benz models, original blueprints (from Mercedes Benz Museum) for the major part of the built models, catalogs, original photos of the vintage models, etc.
If you are not interested can you please give me a contact of a collector that might be interested in this work?

Best regards
